We believe in beautiful spaces that make us happy to be home.

We believe that decorating is a process of revealing the soul of those who call it home, and expressing that soul, their passions and spirit in their surroundings. Homes need to be individual, just as the people who live in them are individuals.

We do not believe in a signature style or in a quick accumulation of furniture and accessories to make a home look "done" as soon as possible. A home is never "done" it simply evolves; just as we ourselves are never done, we must continually grow and evolve.

We believe in healthy homes.

This means we try to use low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints wherever possible. We try to find sustainable solutions to persistent problems and we recycle old things for new purposes. We believe in using organic materials, pure botanicals, natural fibers, vegetable dyes and we have a strong desire to make the world a better place. We believe in using local craftsmen and artisans and paying a fair wage.

We believe in the beauty of nature, the beauty of trees and the
serenity of water.

We believe in connecting with nature. From beautiful window treatments that frame the view to simple, natural accessories, we believe that there are many ways to bring the outside into our homes.

We also see the beauty in human beings. We believe in world travel and appreciating other cultures and incorporating what we love into our homes.
